This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and an integrated bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve as part of a dry shaft design. A mechanical seal with a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber elements is included, providing a temperature rating of 225°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a Baldor unit and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is configured with AEGIS shaft grounding.
