This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The casing is cast iron, and the unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings, and the casing provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is driven by a 20 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure in a NEMA 286 T-frame. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The configuration includes across the line starting, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base equipped with an integral drip pan.
