This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. It uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge design assists with self-venting and simplifies piping layouts. This unit is rated for clean water applications up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It features an ODP enclosure, a 213 JM motor frame with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This pump is configured for counter-clockwise rotation and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.94.
