This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve for maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center-line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 256JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and premium efficiency ratings that meet MG1-12.55 standards. This pump is rated for 40°C ambient temperature environments and features a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
