This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The assembly is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor ODP motor in a 215 NEMA T-frame enclosure. It operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power using an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
