This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. A bronze wear ring is integrated into the casing assembly.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 324 NEMA frame. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA standards and has a PEI value of 0.92.
