This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller constructed of stainless steel and a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This pump is driven by a 5 HP TEFC Baldor motor operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and uses a JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Standard configuration includes across the line starting, 40°C ambient temperature rating, and CCW rotation. The unit is rated with a PEI of 0.84.
