This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and houses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The unit uses a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and features a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. This assembly does not include a wear ring and provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP, 380V, 3PH TEFC motor housed in a NEMA 284 frame. The WEG premium efficiency motor complies with MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Mounting is provided by a welded base equipped with a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. The power frame is size "J" for speeds above 1750 RPM. This pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.95 and an HI energy rating of 5. It is configured for across the line starting and operates in a 40°C ambient temperature.
