This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber manages fluid containment at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a 326 T-frame style, configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power input. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and a standard coupler guard. The system is compatible with across-the-line starting and holds a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
