This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design featuring a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH. The assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, a Woods coupler, and a welded base featuring an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.96.
