This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The design includes a top centerline discharge, a rear pullout service configuration, a dry shaft, and an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. Integrated flush seal line taps and suction and discharge pressure tappings are provided for monitoring and maintenance.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 284 JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, featuring AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
