This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction, and a 1-1/2" discharge. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid and incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit utilizes a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a drip cover. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The motor is built on a 215 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This pump maintains a counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
