This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a 182 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230/460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor features an ODP enclosure and premium efficiency construction meeting MG1-12.55 standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with standard CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.86. The top center line discharge design assists in self-venting and reduces piping strain.
