This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design includes a rear pullout configuration for service access and a top center line discharge. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid, and the mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. It is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and handles clean water.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 184 JM motor frame with feet. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 and meets NEMA standard requirements with premium efficiency per MG1-12.55. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a 40°C ambient rating, and an across-the-line starting option. The unit has a PEI value of 0.84.
