This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and enables self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 254 JM motor frame style with feet. The unit utilizes an across-the-line starting option and requires a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F with a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
