This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 230-460/60/3 Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. This configuration meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features a PEI of 0.92. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler for the drive connection. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°F ambient temperature. Standard operational features include across the line starting and CCW rotation.
