This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This model is built without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 326 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and MG1-12.55 requirements and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler. This unit has a PEI of 0.93 and supports 40°C ambient operation with CCW rotation.
