This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and includes a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates alignment.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.84.
