This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections compliant with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 213 NEMA T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses an across-the-line starting method. This equipment includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.88. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
