This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and incorporates a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The construction incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60/3 PH power supply and utilizes a NEMA 286T frame. The system is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The connection between the pump and motor uses a standard Woods coupler with greasable bearings located in the bearing frame. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is configured for across the line starting.
