This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft fitted with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP TEFC WEG motor, NEMA frame 184 T-frame, configured for 230-460/60/3 power. It uses an across-the-line starting option and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler with greasable bearings. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.86. This equipment is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
