This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 40 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 324T frame. The motor is TEFC, rated for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and 40°C ambient temperatures. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler for connection to the greasable bearing frame. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and supports across-the-line starting.
