This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge ports that accommodate ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor, which meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is configured in a 326 T frame with a TEFC enclosure, suitable for a 380/60/3 power supply and 40 °C ambient conditions. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.93 and CCW rotation.
