This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 225 °F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a NEMA 324 T-frame and operates on a 230-460V, 3PH power supply. The electrical system includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This assembly uses a standard Woods coupler with a coupler guard and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. This pump configuration has a DOE PEI of 0.9 and supports across the line starting.
