This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration is rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F and is suitable for clean water applications. The pump uses a greasable bearing frame for support.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a NEMA 254 T-frame. The motor features across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91. It is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard for operation in 40°C ambient temperatures.
