This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, capable of handling temperatures up to 250°F. A bronze wear ring is included. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction with a slip-on shaft sleeve, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping, and the top centerline discharge assists with self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor in a 326 JM frame style with feet. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with Across the Line starting. The motor is designed for a 40°C ambient environment, follows NEMA standards, and utilizes CCW rotation. The pump has a PEI of 0.92.
