This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operating temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing the system piping.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is configured with a 286 JM frame with feet and operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. This unit meets NEMA standards, operates in a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation, and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The pump has a PEI value of 0.89.
