This close-coupled end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered with a dry shaft mechanical design, the assembly isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid to reduce corrosion. The unit utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber for the mechanical seal. Standard pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections allow for monitoring, while flush seal line taps facilitate the installation of a filter for protection in open systems. This pump operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI.
The 3 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and includes Aegis Grounding, utilizing 380-460V 3PH power with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
