This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water up to 250°F. This configuration does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213T frame. The motor enclosure is ODP, and the electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
