This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which allows for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This assembly utilizes a dry shaft design and does not include a wear ring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a NEMA 145 T frame and accepts 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted to a welded base that features an integrated drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The pump is rated at a PEI of 0.85.
