This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft, and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a 256 JM motor frame with feet and is rated for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor includes a drip cover, AEGIS shaft grounding, and is designed for across-the-line starting. It operates in a 40 °C ambient temperature and handles fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. This model meets NEMA standard efficiency requirements and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.91.
