This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The unit includes a bearing frame with permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across-the-line starting and integrated AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It utilizes a Woods coupler for the drive connection. The equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
