This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 182 T-Frame enclosure. Electrical specifications include 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across-the-line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The design includes greasable bearings and AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI value of 0.88. It is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
