This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance without disturbing system piping.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 286 JM frame with feet, AEGIS shaft grounding, and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. It features across the line starting and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
