This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal dry shaft design isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid, and the unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. This configuration does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 143 NEMA T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with a 40°C ambient rating. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This model is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler for the motor connection. The assembly is configured for standard counter-clockwise rotation and across-the-line starting, with a PEI value of 0.91.
