This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit operates with clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections, and the construction includes flush seal line taps and a rear pullout assembly to allow for service without disturbing system piping.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor, operating at 1150 RPM. The motor is an ODP enclosure, 254JM frame style with feet, and functions at 230-460/60/3 power input. It meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. Electrical starting is configured as across the line. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
