This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal components operate at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and features a 256 JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit does not include a drip cover. The pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.91.
