This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge connection. The pump is equipped with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel NSF61-compliant impeller, a bronze wear ring, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is installed, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. This motor is configured with a JM frame style with feet and operates on 200V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a rear pullout design for field servicing and a top center line discharge to facilitate piping alignment. The pump is configured for CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
