This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly includes flush seal line taps for optional filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with piping alignment.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and provides 40 HP. It is configured with a WEG TEFC motor in a 324 JM motor frame style with feet. The power supply is 230-460V/60/3PH with an across-the-line starting option. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This pump is rated for clean water applications at temperatures up to 250 °F and features a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
