This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The assembly uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists with venting and piping alignment.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a TEFC enclosure. It operates on 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power. The motor is built on a 184JM frame style with feet. This pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.87. The starting configuration is across the line, and the unit includes a standard motor enclosure without a drip cover.
