This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a nominal diameter of 13-1/2". The internal assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water systems up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor is built on a NEMA 326 T-frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and connects to the motor via a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump uses greasable bearings and maintains a PEI of 0.93. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
