This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a class 30 cast iron casing and a hydraulically balanced bronze impeller. It integrates a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber to maintain fluid containment, supporting a pressure rating of 125 PSI. This construction allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The assembly utilizes a 25 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by 380-460V, 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
