This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a Ni-Resist seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, supporting operation up to 225°F. The pump casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge facilitates a self-venting configuration.
This pump uses a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, no drip cover, and a JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with a CCW rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
