This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. This unit utilizes a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and uses a 125 HP, 460/60/3 Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure in a 444 TS NEMA frame. It is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The assembly includes an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. It is configured for across the line starting and operates in a 40°C ambient temperature. This model meets NEMA premium efficiency standard MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
