This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. Additional design elements include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration for service access.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with an ODP enclosure, 213 JM frame with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. Electrical requirements are 200V, 60Hz, 3PH. The pump complies with NEMA standards and operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature. It achieves a PEI of 0.83 and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55.
