This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The unit uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It uses a 254 JM motor frame style with feet. The unit is configured for 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standard efficiency requirements and holds a premium efficiency rating per MG1-12.55. It is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation.
