This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses a NEMA 213 T-frame motor. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting the Woods coupler. This unit operates at 40°C ambient temperature and complies with NEMA standards. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
