This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump employs a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft, and pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 284T frame. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. This model has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.97 and is rated for 40°F ambient temperature operation.
