This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. Internal components consist of a stainless steel shaft, a stainless steel shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 365 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor. The pump assembly meets NEMA standard MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
