This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features 8" suction and 6" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design includes a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It operates at temperatures up to 250°F and is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 254T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and operates at 1150 RPM using a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient operation and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration meets MG1-12.55 standards and operates with CCW rotation.
